  17.   after upgrading from OS1.3 to 3.1 I can no longer boot from HD using my
  18. KRONOS SCSI controller. However, I can use my HD if I boot from FD, install
  19. the HD with 'devinstall' (from the 'KRONOS fast install'-disk) and mount it.
  20.   Obviously something is going wrong while autoconfiguring the controller
  21. with an old bootROM under the new OS.
  22.   To be sure that there's no problem with my other cards here are all the
  23. components in my system:
  24.  
  25.     - A2000B Rev.4.2
  26.     - A2630 4MB (with new ROMs for 3.1, dated 01/15/91 18:57)
  27.     - KRONOS SCSI-controller (on the board it says 'MCM COPYRIGHT 1989
  28.                             B. RICKETTS'
  29.         and on the boot-EPROM (2764, 8KB) there's a sticker '5087')
  30.         software delivered with the board e.g.
  31.         - inquir v 3.5
  32.         - installer v 1.2
  33.         - setautoboot v.3.2 (didn't help me)
  34.  
  35.     - PicassoII 2MB
  36.     - A2386

  38.   The system worked fine before the upgrade so I think my problems are due to
  39. the old firmware in the bootROM. Who is sucessfully using this controller
  40. under 3.1 and/or can give me any hints on upgrading the controller software
  41. and firmware?
